​Christopher Michael Harris

     Spc. Christopher Michael Harris 25, of Jackson Springs, North Carolina, died August 2nd, 2017  while serving during Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. A vehicle-borne improved explosive device detonated near his convoy resulting in the death of the young and brave soldier. Christopher was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 504th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, at Fort Bragg, N.C.
